    Located northwest of Gainesville, Texas in a "bend" of the Red River, Sivells Bend ISD is a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade elementary school with high expectations and high standards. "Champions for Children" is our motto and the district strives to provide students the best education possible. Currently we have met all TEA standards on state mandated assessments and are fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency. NOTICE of Federal Programs Planning for Sivells Bend ISD

  • Sivells Bend Independent School District is currently in the planning process for the following programs:

    2021-2022 ESSA Consolidated Federal Application:

    ·         Title I, Part A – Improving Basic Programs

    ·         Title II, Part A – Improving Teacher Quality

    ·         Title IV, Part A – Student Support and Academic Achievement

    Private Nonprofit Schools and/or Homeschools with government nonprofit status that serve students living within Sivells Bend ISD boundaries and that are interested in receiving program information on participation and/or providing input into program planning for services for eligible students may contact:  James Daugherty, Superintendent / Principal

    2020-2023 ARP ESSER III Grant


    American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III)  American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III) Funds will be used to respond to the pandemic and to address student learning loss as a result of COVID-19.
     

    2020-2022 CRRSA ESSER II

    The ESSER II grant program was authorized in the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA), signed into law in December 2020. The period of availability of CRRSA ESSER II grant funds is March 13, 2020 (with pre-award), to September 30, 2023 (with carryover).
