I am honored and blessed to have attended and graduated from Sivells Bend ISD back when 2 rooms, an auditorium and a storm cellar once graced the property along with wonderful teachers
that shared more than the knowledge of teaching from books. Much like then, our school has always stood with the best staff and teachers anyone could ever ask for. We are not always perfect,
but the driving force behind everything that was ever done here still stands, raising up children with the education that will help them later on in life. Our ability to help them and need help in doing
so comes from a community that has always supported us in our efforts and it takes all of us to be successful.
Technology has always been a driving force behind my job tasks as I started my interest in electronics while attending High School in Lindsay, Texas working for our local Radio Shack store.
I worked 1/2 days for credits back then and was able to go to work in the evenings for the local franchise store in the Gainesville Shopping Center at the time. Later on I would find myself working
for companies doing maintenance, networking, communication technology and even involved in system programming and automation with programmable logic controllers to control processing equipment.
I never imagined returning to the school where my roots started, back in the community I grew up in and have lived in all my life but am blessed to work with everyone in making things better here for
everyone. It isn't the technology alone that makes things better, it is knowing how it should be used. The knowledge and education you have is what really matters in life, using it as it should be used
and always learning more is a driving force that should never be taken for granted, ignored or overlooked.
SIVELLS BEND ISD
Hi, I'm Eva Wolfenbarger, I've been teaching for 14 years, and six of those years have been here at Sivells Bend.
I'm a Texas Woman's University graduate, married for 31 years, with 5 kids and 3 grandkids, in addition to several bonus kids and grandkids, who all keep me smiling.
In my classroom, I want students to feel safe to be themselves, make mistakes, and take ownership of their learning.
We build each other up and never tear anyone down because our classroom is our family.
Outside of school, I love hiking, camping, traveling, cooking, reading, and having fun with my grandkids.
