STAAR Testing: Students in 3rd - 8th grades will begin STAAR assessments (Reading, Language & Art (RLA)) on Wednesday, 4/16/2025. Students are encouraged to get a good nights rest, have a protein-rich breakfast, wear comfortable clothing and TO DO THEIR BEST!

SIVELLS BEND ISD - EASTER EGG HUNT! Sivells Bend is having a BIG Easter Egg Hunt, Thursday, April 17, at 2:30 PM! Kinder up to 2nd grade students are only to participate in the egg hunt. The school will provide eggs and prizes. Students are asked to bring an Easter Basket to school on Thursday.

First State Bank of Gainesville, visited our 1st & 2nd Graders to talk about their financial literacy program called "Financial Foundations for Students" that engages students in grade school covering topics like money & savings.

4th & 5th students went on a field trip to the NCTC to learn about agriculture at Farm City Week.
Students attending Farm City Week, were able to meet with farmers & ranchers from around the area to learn about growing corn, cotton, wheat, beef cattle & swine. The students understand more about the crops grown for food and clothing.
